Comprehensive workplace solution Roam has chosen sustainable waste management and hunger relief company Goodr to assist them in reducing their carbon footprint. Our partnership, which began in March, includes both Surplus Food Recovery and Organics Recycling from all seven of Roam’s Georgia locations. Recovered food from each of the locations is then donated to our network of local non-profits.
A comprehensive work, meet and office solution, Roam provides remote workers and businesses of all sizes with access to technology-equipped meeting spaces, flexible office space and member-only shared workspaces. Roam’s full-service coffee bar offers a variety of handcrafted beverages, local light bites and snacks at each of their seven locations. Heavier breakfast and lunch options are available from a selection of preferred vendors including A Seasonal Affair, Christophe’s Catering, Cinco and Flower Child.
In the five months since our partnership began, more than 2,600 lbs of surplus food and organic waste has been diverted from local landfills. The emissions offset is equivalent to 263,000 gallons of water saved and 79,000 smartphones charged. This impact will continue to grow as the partnership expands to Roam’s new Dallas location opening in early 2023 at Grandscape in The Colony, Texas.
