Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) is the fourth largest convention center in the world, hosting more than one million guests every year. As their official food recovery partner during the 2019 Super Bowl, we were able to amplify the GWCC’s food waste efforts.
The Challenge
As an industry leader in sustainability, GWCC strives to reduce its environmental footprint through recycling, composting and energy efficiency. Having worked with several nonprofits to donate their surplus food, they were looking for more robust reporting for their food donations.
The Solution
Goodr provided a turnkey solution to manage their organic food waste that was measurable. This allowed GWCC to track progress and deliver results against their sustainability goals.
Our proprietary platform delivered real-time community and environmental impact reporting analytics, empowering the airport to optimize their purchasing decisions and get to zero waste faster.
